Brief Photo Essay on Real Quiet

Real Quiet almost became a Triple Crown Winner. He won the 1998 Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes. He then went on to race the Belmont Stakes and lost by a nose just under the wire. He has already sired with 4 mares in 2007 before being taken to New Bolton Center in Kennett Square where he is under UPENN vets care of Dr. Dean Richardson. To date, he has drained both abscesses in Real Quiet's hind legs and the prized Pin Oak Lane (www.pinoaklane.com) stallion is recovering well so far. Can see the entire updated article at www.BarbaroCampaignNews.com under the At the Top Hour in Breaking News section. March 2, 2007.
Top left photo shows both Real Quiet and his Jockey Kent Desormeaux in the winners Circle at Churchill Downs, Louisville, Kentucky in May 1998 (124th Kentucky Derby). Second photo (BW) shows Real Quiet losing just by a nose under the wire at the Belmont Stakes same year. Third photo shows sire stallion Real Quiet's standing at current home Pin Oak Lane Farm owned by Dr. William J. Solomon (VMD). Noteworthy is fact that Real Quiet is second leading sire in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Ohio. More info in above articles in the Top Hour.
